MS Teams pre-certification Service

One request we have been getting more frequently is "Can Indy Acoustic Research (IAR) help us with Microsoft Teams© Certification Testing for our Audio Product?"  We offer a Pre-certification Service based on the latest version of the MS Teams Specification, specifically the  section regarding objective ​audio test.

Certification Is Expensive
  • Building the acoustic test team, then procuring the acoustic testing facilities (anechoic chamber and ETSI-compliant room), plus software and fixturing to begin TEAMS testing in-house costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. IAR offers access to those results for a fraction of the cost. 
Certification Is Time-consuming
  • There are only two approved TEAMS Acoustic Certification labs and they can have lengthy queues to get products tested. IAR can provide you the confidence you need that your product is ready to pass this test the first time.
Passing Can be Difficult​
  • IAR has the expertise to find, explain, diagnose and fix many issues that would likely result in a failure at MS Teams Certification.  Sometimes it is the device that fails the test, but sometimes it is the test (or more likely improper setup) that fails the device.  Our team is on the standards committees (TIA, IEEE) that form the foundation of test methodologies behind MS TEAMS and understand that proper setup, device conditioning, signal types, equipment calibration and analysis techniques all play a role in a successful test.
